Shadow Behind: Greenwashing in fast fashion industry

Introduction:
"Shadow Behind: Greenwashing in Fast Fashion's Green Advertising Practices" is an innovative and thought-provoking interactive artwork that directly addresses the pervasive issue of greenwashing in the fast fashion industry. Through the seamless integration of Shadow Art and Physical Computing, this project provides viewers with a distinctive opportunity to explore the concealed realities behind sustainability claims and encourages critical thinking. The installation comprises ten meticulously crafted fabrications suspended against a white wall, with moving words commonly used in greenwashing projected onto it. Initially, only the green sustainable words are visible, symbolizing the industry's superficial promises. However, upon closer inspection, the words disappear, exposing the stark contrast between sustainable claims and actual impact.

"Wandering: A Reflective Exploration of Life's Pace" is a contemplative and introspective project designed to encourage individuals to pause and reconsider their life's trajectory in an increasingly fast-paced 21st-century world. In an era where efficiency and speed dominate our lives, this project invites users to step away from the constant rush and embrace a moment of serenity.

Incorporating a harmonious blend of p5.js, HTML, CSS, Arduino, IMU sensors, Serial Communication, and BLE Communication, Wandering offers a unique interactive experience centered around a captivating Cloud Ball. As users gently rotate the Cloud Ball, a projected circle synchronizes its movement with the user's rotation, creating a rhythmic and soothing ambiance. Through this activity, participants can find solace and delight, prompting them to ponder the necessity of their relentless pace.

Wandering serves as a reminder that amidst the rapid pace of modern life, there exists an opportunity to slow down, reflect, and rediscover the joy in simplicity. Join us in this meditative journey and contemplate whether it's time to recalibrate your life's tempo.

Introduction:
"Charm of Infinite" is an exquisite generative artwork that harnesses the beauty of circulating decimals through the graceful interplay of lines and a subtle palette of colors.

This captivating creation brings to life the mesmerizing essence of the cyclic segments found within circulating decimals. It achieves this by artfully crafting symmetrical patterns through the dynamic manipulation of lines and the judicious selection of hues.

In the realm of mathematics, any circulating decimal unveils its secrets as an array comprising n distinct numbers. Within our generative system, these numbers serve as the guiding stars, directing the graceful dance of lines. Each new line gracefully takes its place at the end of the preceding one, all the while executing precise rotations based on the specific angles determined by the numbers within the array.

"Charm of Infinite" invites you to explore the harmony and aesthetics hidden within the numerical realm, revealing the captivating allure of these recurring and rhythmic patterns that often go unnoticed in the world of mathematics.

Robot Dwarf Doc

Dwarf Doc: Remote Controlled Arduino-based Robot

Introduction:
Doc, an Arduino-based robot dwarf, and a standout character in the Snow White Robot Edition, a captivating large-scale class project brought to life under the expert guidance of Professor Michael Shiloh. In this collaborative endeavor, we meticulously crafted the stage script, paired up to breathe life into the charming dwarfs, and ventured into the magical world of robotics.

Together with my talented partner Coco@Northwestern, we embarked on the thrilling task of creating Doc, who would not only exemplify leadership but also exude personality. Doc, the esteemed leader of the dwarfs, underwent a thoughtful design process. We adorned him with a distinctive flag, a symbol of his leadership, and equipped him with a robust hammer, perfect for the task of mining and singing, "Dig Dig Dig." Doc's facial expressions dynamically change to reflect his mood, adding depth to his character.

Behind the scenes, Doc relies on the power of DC Motors to drive his wheels, facilitating his locomotion. Additionally, he can be remotely controlled by another Arduino through Serial Communication, allowing for dynamic interactions during performances.

My role in this enchanting project primarily focused on the technical implementation. I undertook the responsibility of circuit design, equipment assembly, and the meticulous coding process, working collaboratively with Coco to bring Doc to life as an Arduino-controlled robot. Together, we harnessed the following components:

Step into a breathtaking 3D galaxy, where a myriad of stars illuminates the backdrop. As you join this cosmic realm, you assume the role of a celestial planet, poised to engage in extraordinary interactions. Through the power of your voice, you can communicate with other celestial objects adrift in the vastness of space. Every word you speak reverberates in the void, heard by others as spatial audio, adding a profound layer of realism to your conversations.

But there's more to this interstellar symphony. Within the cosmic expanse, an artificial intelligence (AI) entity awakens, ever attentive to the celestial dialogues. This AI not only listens but also learns, harnessing the capabilities of the LLM language model to seamlessly mimic your interactions. It becomes a virtual participant, forging connections and adding a touch of intrigue to your cosmic conversations.

While the essence of your interactions is rooted in audio, the text of your conversations is projected onto the 3D galaxy, serving as a testament to the profound connections forged in the digital cosmos.
